Background: Near East Foundation, Sudan Job Description
Title: Human Resources Manager Reports to: Country Director Location: Khartoum, Sudan Travel: 10 % Contract length: 12 months
POSITION DESCRIPTION The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the Near East Foundation team in Sudan. Reporting to the Country Director and functionally reporting to the Director of Human Resources the Human Resources and Administration Manager has the responsibility to lead and manage the Human Resources function, provide overall advice, coordination and management to the Human Resources and Administration team as well as provide technical Human Resources support to the field offices. Ensures efficient support to the program in accordance with existing NEF policies and procedures. This role has a country focus and ensures compliance to NEF procedures and guidelines within the country. The role contributes to the development of country human resource strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. This position maintains a high degree of confidentiality. The Human Resources and Administration Manager must provide excellent customer service, demonstrate initiative, take ownership of responsibilities, and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy. |
