 Background:

To supervise and coordinate assigned aircraft handling activities to ensure safe on-time turnaround process and that the aircraft is operated within their operational limits with regards to weight and balance. Furthermore, the role requires timely documentation, information transmission, information recording (OCC) and control in accordance with the airlines, airport, departmental SOP and QHSE norms & standards.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitor flight movement and information (arrival/ departure, gate change, flight delays, etc.) and ensure timely communication with all concerned department and personnel to ensure operations as per the standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Ensure completion, collection and delivery of flight documents and procedures, as required, for ensuring safe operations and procedural compliance, including:
    • Load and trim sheet
    • Estimation of zero fuel weight
    • Baggage tag check
    • Verifying joining cargo against advice form to ensure correct delivery
    • ATS documentation

 

  • Use radio contacts to maintain operational ramp control of all flights, ensuring availability and proper positioning of required equipment for smooth operations
  • Interaction with other departments including ramp operations, cargo team, operational control center and outside agencies including ramp operations, cargo warehouse, and operations control center to ensure effective communication in order to complete load control tasks safely, accurately, punctually and submit flight records to airlines.
  • Ensure accuracy, practicality and procedural compliance so that output is of a high standard with regard to safety and quality
  • Responsible to report workplace hazards, near misses, incidents to immediate supervisors and or station QHSE and security department
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by line manager

 

 

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  •  University Degree./Diploma in related field
  • Minimum 1  years of similar experience
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and Organizing skills
  • Basic knowledge of oral and written English and local language as indicated
  • Basic Computer skills and knowledge of related job applications
  • Knowledge of ramp and ground operations, OCC operations, radio communications and local required regulations
