Position Description
This position is for the MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience Project (MIHR) in Sudan, implemented by CARE, with IMA World Health and JSI. MIHR works to strengthen the capacity and resilience of both community and health systems in focus countries to enable them to plan and implement health strategies that reach target populations while addressing the underlying determinants of poor health and the impacts of fragility. In Sudan, MIHR will work in South Kordofan to improve and strengthen quality maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) services at state and locality levels, as well as build on existing humanitarian programming to improve the sustainability of rural water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) service delivery.
The Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) and Supply Chain Officer for MIHR Sudan will support the implementation of MIHR’s HSS and supply chain activities at the state and community level. The position will be based in South Kordofan, Sudan and will report to the State Program Manager. This position is contingent upon funder approval of key personnel and availability of funds. |
