Completion of the Secondary Education with post-secondary training/certificate in Business Administration, Law, Political Science or related field.
b. Work Experience:
Minimum 6 years of previous job experience relevant to the function.
Excellent knowledge of English and working knowledge of another relevant UN language or local language
Completion of UNHCR learning programmes or specific training relevant to functions of the position.
UNHCR field experience.
Planning and Organizing:
Proven ability to plan and organize, establish priorities, manage and coordinate competing demands, and work to tight deadlines.
Excellent computer skills, and relevant software packages,
Proven ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively, including ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations, articulating options concisely, conveying maximum information, making and defending recommendations. Ability to facilitate meetings/workshops in a participatory manner
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to operate effectively across organizational boundaries; ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
