Background: World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian organization founded in 1950 with operations in nearly 100 countries worldwide. In Sudan, World Vision has programs in Darfur, Blue Nile, East Darfur, South Kordofan & Khartoum states. Our interventions are in early childhood education, health and nutrition, income generation and sustainable livelihoods. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. World Vision South Khartoum seeking to recruit qualified Communication Officer based in Khartoum State.
PURPOSE OF POSITION The role will support the implementation of World Vision’s Sudan strategy through the development of appropriate and compelling communication and marketing resources to position World Vision as a credible voice for children in Sudan. This role will ensure that the right communications resources (largely consisting of field stories) are produced to facilitate World Vision’s engagement with its diverse audiences, including strengthening its digital and social media presence, that will in turn contribute to further increasing its internal and external visibility.
