 Background:

Run the refinery operation shift wise to deliver daily production targets settled by management with required quality and in a hygienic environment



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Supervision of Subordinates

  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Sales activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner
  • Train and improve refinery casual staff capabilities

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day Operations

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of Trade marketing to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for all refining operations of the unit.
  • Oversees the distribution of workers inside and outside Section.
  •  Preparing the inlet oil lines to be operated.
  •  Follow up on all the machines while working and its maintenance.
  • Oversees the application of chemicals to the section and make sure to bring in the Section.
  • Supervise the withdrawal of the refined oil to packing section and submit a report on the amounts withdrawn.
  • Fill the shift report and to identify the faults, their causes, stoppage time and shift production.
  • Responsible for the daily tanks inventory.
  • Supervise the disposal of chemical waste from the department at the specific location.
  • Coordination with the Maintenance Section of the recovery time with less downtime.
  • Follow and apply all security and safety procedures and ensure that their application to the unity of all workers.
  • Supervision of all operations of the discharge of crude oil and to report on the oil received.

 

  • Prepare needed blends and deliver it to filling

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
  • Reporting
  • Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards
  • Health, Safety & Environment
  •  Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
  • Related Assignments

Perform other related duties or assignments as directed


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree in chemical or mechanical engineer or any related field)
  • Experience:
    Minumem1 to 2 years of experience, preferred in same position
  • Language: Arabic, English (Preferred).
