 Background:

Expect to interact and attract seasoned and new entrepreneurs, communities, business and industry leaders, local and international experts, professionals, artists, and students who are pursuing creative, impactful solutions to local and global challenges.

A major purpose of the Space Host is to support 249Startups hub in daily operations and be a consistent point of contact at events and for members entering 249STARTUPS. The Host provides daily support for the community and ensures a positive member experience. The Space Host has the power to be a connector, a helper, an ambassador, and an inspirer.

 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of 249Startups working space services to the different stakeholders and customers in the best possible quality.
  • Administrate the space calends, bookings, reservations and memberships (meeting rooms, events areas, working spaces … etc.)
  • Ensure having an inevitable working space and interactive community.  
  • Assist members and guests with questions regarding our technologies, their memberships, onboarding, and 249 startups protocols. Undertake telephone and reception duties, adhering to agreed.
  • Support the Product and Services team in the design and implementation of events, programs, workshops, and community gatherings.
  • Organize catering for all the space activities, events and meetings.

Report any malfunctions.

  • Prepare set up for events during the day, evenings, and or weekends when necessary, including speaker panels, workshops, requirements, and parties.
  • Distribute, collect and report all the events and activities feedback forms to measure all participants & members satisfaction.
  • Ensure all participants and visitors are welcomed and directed to the appropriate member of staff in a professional and efficient manner. Give tours to prospective members and event hosts.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of stationery and consumables within the Hub following agreed procedures.
  • Customer service support through all the assigned platforms.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 

 

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

 FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

Space Host can only recommend his/ her direct manager of the possible decisions can be made in his/ her related job duties. No budgets under control.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

 

 

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Customer Service & good administrative knowledge,
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Management, Marketing and/or administration Experience.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  •   Customer Service & Organizational Skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • High reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS excel, word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent English proficiency.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Excellent understanding of Customer Relationships Management.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
