IT Help Desk Specialist is responsible for supporting equipment in a CISCO, Microsoft Windows/Linux environment, from design through implementation and support. IT Help Desk Specialist performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment. IT Help Desk Specialist provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.

• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
• Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software.

• Assist with on-boarding of new users.
• Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment.
• Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
• Report issues to the AUTOBASH system Administrator for escalation.
• Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.
• Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.

• Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills required
• Associates Degree
• excellent working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Windows workstations, Laptops, Printers, VMware, anti-virus, Access Control, CCTV, Projectors and other various software applications.
• Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well with others, as well as independently. Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in enterprise business environment

Skills and Qualifications:
