Duties and responsibilities:
Outreach Activities:

Coordinate, plan and supervise activities in the outreach program including SRH activities according to MSF protocols

Ensure the medical supply is managed properly following MSF guidelines and this includes; follow up rational drug presciption, proper storage of medical items, consumption tracking, preparing medical regular orders and provide support for the dispenser.

Ensure medical data is collected accurately and submitted to the data encoder on time

Supervise the appropriate use of medical devices, ensure all staff is using medical devices are trained and qualified, ensure routine cleaning and maitance are being preformed according to MSF protocols and guidelines and malfunctions reported to the line manager.

Ensure cold chain is managed accordingly; vaccine carriers are packed accordingly, temperature is monitored regulary and vaccines are stored properly.

Ensure laboratory testing is done accordingly (including rational usage of tests, sample collection, interpretation of results, maintance & cleaning of devices and calibration, registration etc)

Ensure IPC measures are strictly adhered to including proper waste management on site and proper waste disposal in dedicated areas

Ensure regular continous trainings for all medical staff concerrning the medical and hygiene guidelines in use in the project

Build relationship with local community to support awareness of MSF activities

Delegate tasks among the team members in the outreach program within their abilities and scope of practice

Work closely with MAM to ensure referral criteria is strictly followed and referral data shared with data operator

Ensure rosters are updated, leave plans developed and perfomance management processes are followed according to HR guidelines

Any other as may be requested from time to time by the supervisor
General:

Give feedback/ reports to respective line manager.

Participate in (medical) meetings and regular reporting at project level. Flexibility be reassigned to other tasks and working locations if indicated in order to support MSF medical activities.
