 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Identifying and reporting all existing and potential threats, and health & safety risks, informing and advising the Responsible Manager, and developing and implementing internal control systems, procedures and solutions in all warehouses and production areas affiliated with the Factory/Operations organization.
  • Implement EHS management systems, programmes and procedures as explained in the British American Tobacco system guidelines in order to achieve EHS policy objectives and objectives.
  • Regularly inspect all operations departments to detect problem areas or missing applications and make sure corrective action is done on time.
  • All employees and contractors fully understand the environmental & safety measures they must follow during their working activities, have received appropriate training and preparation.
  • Ensure that they follow procedures correctly and are observed regularly.
  • participate in the activities of the company's EHS management committee and to coordinate the technical and departmental affairs of EHS committees and working groups.
  • Supporting the environmental health safety manager for operations on the following issues :

- ensure that consistent and fully referenced documents of all data arising from day-to-day management of all licenses, permissions, inventories, metrics and EHS topics are stored.

               - provide findings on compliance or non-compliance with regulatory and company policy requirements.

  • Monitor the progress in addressing the issues to the responsible director at least every quarter of the year and present it as an official report and participate in the company's annual internal EHS assessment and present the EHS report to BAT.
  • Participate in the investigation of all serious accidents and environmental events.
  • Supporting the operational environmental health safety manager in the timely and budget-based fulfillment, confirming, completion and coordination of EHS issues in BAT operations.
  • Comply with the clean table policy implemented by BAT
  •   determine cleaning procedures for areas under your control and to ensure that these procedures are strictly implemented.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

      *Minimum Qualification :

  • Degree in Faculty of Engineering (safety specialist certificate specified in the relevant regulation).

     *Skills and Experience Required :

  • Minimum 2-4 years in EHS field.
  • Solid information about risk management principles and their application to work.
  • Effective in computer skills and using the company's standard software packages.
  • Informed about the environment, health & safety law and judicial proceedings.
  • Detailed information about all the functions of the company's operations.
  • Effective communication skills to impress staff at all levels of the company.
  • Health & safety (EHS) management systems.
  • Understand and be sensitive to the natural environment and health & safety issues and the priorities to be specified.

To minimize the risks of accidents and environmental non-compliance and to ensure compliance with British American Tobacco's EHS policy objectives, standards, guidelines, regional regulations and regulations, all environmental impacts arising from British American Tobacco's activities are to implement and maintain the most appropriate environmental, health & safety (EHS) management systems, controls and solutions for health & safety risks, and to contribute to ensure continued supply of products to the market.
