Background:
Purpose:
The Migration Project Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (PMER)Coordinator, in close collaboration with the Migration Project Coordinator and DRC Migration delegate will be responsible foroverall management of the SRCS/DRC Migration project“PROTECT”, co-funded by European Union and Danish MoFA. The project seeks to improve the protection of migrants in vulnerable situations along the Northern migratory route in Sudan through SRCS humanitarian intervention in four main target states: Northern state, River Nile, Red Sea and Khartoum.
All project activities are to be carried out through the established SRCS structures and will be based on the Fundamental principles, values and policies of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

Duties and responsibilities:

Programme implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
|

Support Migration Project Coordinator to ensure effective and timely implementation of the EU funded “PROTECT” project as per project description and budget
-
Coordinate project planning, monitoring, reportingand evaluation, as per SRCS PMER Manual and EU requirements
-
Coordinate project assessment, baseline, mid-term and endline surveys in collaboration with the project team in the SRCS HQ and the Branches
-
Establish CEA system for the project including the beneficiary feedback mechanism and regularly share findings with the project team

Capacity development and technical support
|

Enhance the capacity of SRCSBranch Project staff and volunteers in PMERby on the job trainings and by facilitating workshops in coordination with the Branch Directors, SRCS Head of PMER andDRC Migration Delegate

Train, supervise, coach and mentor project team in theSRCS HQ and in target state Branches in PMER
|
Representation and liaison
|

Attend relevant coordination meetings to establish partnershipsand enhance collaboration among relevant stakeholders at the national and state level
|
Management and strategy development
|

Make field-based recommendations to the Migration Project Coordinator, SRCS Head of PMERand DRC Migration Delegateon the best courseofaction
-
Collect learning and best practices based on beneficiary feedback and feed into overall development of PMER and CEA in SRCS

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Personal qualifications
|
Education
|
BA/Master’sdegree in Management, IT, statistic or any related fields
|
Experience and Knowledge
|
-
More than 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a humanitarian organization or NGO, with more than 3 years’ experience in the area of PMER
-
Good organizational and communication skills
-
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills for building synergies and collaboration with project team, partners, beneficiaries and donor agencies
-
Ability to develop, monitor, report and evaluate activities
-
Strong facilitation skills and knowledge about adult learning methodologies
-
Experience ofsupervision and mentoring
-
Self-supporting in computers (Windows, spreadsheets, power point)
-
Ability to effectively work remotely if necessary (via email, online)
