 Duties and responsibilities:

  • File and update key contact with local authorities in Khartoum state areas, and its surrounding.
  • Identify key personal to contact in the Khartoum State Ministry of health.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with other actors, i.e. National and International NGOs, Civil and community-based associations, youth initiatives, and other actors as directed by the project coordinator.
  • Liase with external actors and coordinate meetings between external actors and MSF.
  • Update red-flag log-book according to the project priorities.
  • Follow the context via local media and update the team with the most recent changes.
  • Report directly to the project coordinator any sudden change in the côntext i.e increase in the population tesntion, potential demonstration or any other factors that could increase the rsik on population and MSF team.
  • Assist Project coordinator with any essential information which in order to analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Proof and assist the isue of appropriate operational legal paperwork in both English and Arabic languages (e.g. contracts, terms of the agreement, memorial of understanding and others)
  • Support other departments especially the medical departments in Liaising their activities according to the direction of the project coordinator.
  • Participate in community-based meetings with local figures: like elders, Sultans, Youth representatives, and others according to the operational and medical needs of the project.

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education:

  • Essential Bachelor Degree.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of previous  experience in  similar jobs in the field of humanitarian aid with MSF or other NGOs

Languages:

  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
