Background: CARE International Humanitarian Mandate is to meet the immediate needs of crisis-affected populations in the poorest communities in the world in a way that also addresses the underlying causes of people’s vulnerability. The position of Gender in Emergencies (GiE) Officer advocates for the implementation of gender equality programming in CARE’s key sectors in accordance to the CARE International (CI) mandate, policies and guidelines and the IASC Gender Handbook and the IASC Guidelines for Gender Based Violence (GBV) Interventions in Humanitarian Settings.

The locations might change as per the refugee movements and other emergency needs.
