MEAL Assistant will be responsible for monitoring of projects implemented in Khartoum State. S/He will be   responsible for managing the accountability assigned number, receive, record and share feedback and complaints flowing through the system with respective staff. He/she will compile all the feedback and complaints received through the system from MA operation areas on the assigned accountability database, periodically analyses and share the reports/analysis with respective staff.

• Track the performance and quality of implemented project(s) in Khartoum State.
• Share findings/gaps from field monitoring visits with project respective staff in comprehensive reports, agree and document actions for improvement.
• Generate and share timely weekly field monitoring reports to MA-MEAL Coordinator.
• Work with project staff to monthly update the Project Performance Tracking Table (PPTT) and summary of project monthly achievements/gaps, and help identify and alert critical gaps in a timely manner.
• Maintain, update and consolidate monthly action plan trackers.
•  Support the MEAL team to ensure timely information sharing about MA, projects and feedback mechanisms available with affected beneficiaries.
• Maintain and manage the accountability assigned number for beneficiaries to provide feedback and voice their concerns.
• Ensure feedback and complaints mechanisms are accessible for beneficiaries during specified time and confidentiality aspects are adhered to.
• Receive record and share feedback calls from beneficiaries with respective staff for resolution.
• Ensure all feedback or complaints received countrywide are logged on the accountability database, analysed and shared regularly with program staff for learning. 
• Provide support on admin, logistics and operations tasks for MEAL functions in the field, i.e., needs assessments, consultant’s baseline and evaluation, etc.
• Any other tasks given by line manager within purview of MEAL Assistant.

• Ensure each project has a system, developed in consultation with beneficiaries, to promote, regularly collect and respond to feedback, suggestions, and complaints from children, beneficiaries and community members regarding the safety of the program.
• Ensure safety and safeguarding of beneficiaries is integrated in the terms of reference of mid-term reviews and evaluations and reports have conclusions and recommendations on how safety and safeguarding is integrated in MA programming
• Ensure beneficiary (especially children’s) knowledge of the Safeguarding Policy and mechanisms for raising concerns/complaints about staff or Safeguarding risks.
• Communicate the Safeguarding messages to partner organizations of all kinds including government and line ministries.
