• Develop business intelligence strategy that enables the company to use the right BI and IT tools and software to get the maximum value of its data.
• Participate in putting other departments plans and budgets by analyzing their past periods data.
• Identify possibilities to increase efficiency and reduce employee errors by implementation of data analytics methods and technologies
• Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
• Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of BI.
• Analyzes BI, data and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
• Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
• Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
• Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Coordinates multisite IT systems via enterprise resource planning (ERP).
• Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
• Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends.
• Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
• Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analyzing technology trends.
• Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
• Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Acts as liaison with Information Technology and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems.
• Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional network.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
