Background: Job Summary: The Project Officer will be part of the program team in Khartoum and report to the roving program manager supporting projects in the Darfur States where CRS is operating. The role of the project officer will include working closely with the project managers to revise, follow up on the approval, coordinate the feedback from HAC and finalize the approval of the technical agreements. Furthermore, this position will have a deploying role in several project sites based on the needs identified. During the deployment, the project officer will monitor and report on all project activities in support of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your thorough and service-oriented approach will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits on those we serve.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Basic Qualifications
Required Languages – English, Arabic
Travel - Must be willing and able to travel up to 60-70 % of the time in Darfur states based on needs identified.
