Background: Human Appeal (HA) is a UK-based, international humanitarian and development organization established in 1991, and operates across 25 countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. With a position in Sudan, HA has a long history of providing emergency humanitarian assistance focusing on food security, livelihoods, WASH, GBV, Education, NFIs and shelter and child protection. Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Assistant Resident Representative (Operations), and the direct supervision of the Sr. Operation officer, the Logistic and Procurement Associate ensures execution of transparent and efficient procurement services and processes in HA Country Office. The Procurement Associate promotes a client-focused, quality and results- oriented approach in the Unit. The Procurement Associate can supervise clerical and support staff of the Procurement Unit. The Procurement Associate works in close collaboration with the operations, programme and projects’ staff in the Country Office and HA field staff for resolving complex procurement-related issues and information exchange.
