Storekeeping responsibilities (50%)
§ Receives and checks incoming Admin/ Premises materials against the delivery note and reports any issues.
§ Manages a stock of cleaning-related products.
§ Ensures that goods are properly stored, picked, packed and loaded and reports any issues.
§ Ensures that all the stored goods are properly labelled (expiry dates, batch numbers, manufacturer, etc.) and recorded.
§ Updates bin cards and stock cards when supervising an inventory transaction and participates in monthly and periodical inventory counts.
§ Keeps the facility's equipment and materials neat, clean and orderly and reports any issues.
Housekeeping responsibilities (50%)
§ Coordinates and manages the housekeeping team in charge of keeping ICRC premises clean. Performs domestic work when and if required.
§ Solves minor issues related to ICRC premises/material and informs supervisors about more important ones.
§ Supports the maintenance in a variety of handy tasks when assigned to the office.
§ Ensures that staff under responsibility can carry out their duties in safe and proper conditions and with sufficient and adequate material.
§ Organizes work and uses resources that are available.
§ Supervises the housekeeping staff assigned to ICRC premises and provides them with basic training.
§ May be called upon to supervise the Helpers or daily workers.
