 Background:

Brief about SAFE laboratories:

While Country trend and renaissance at the agricultural and industrial, it was necessary to have an independent private technical body, which is accompanied by the technical support needed to promote the quality of these products and here came the role of Sudanese Agrofood Export laboratories (SAFE), which is the first laboratories in Sudan, provides food and agricultural products inspection and analysis services independently. To enhance this value, Sudanese Agrofood Export laboratories are seeking to get ISO 17025 certification and being accredited.

Services Offered:  SAFE Laboratory provide a package of Microbiological and Chemistry tests for different matrix on different level (Raw, finished and Environmental).



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain internal financial procedures compatible with internal System.
  • Budget preparations, revisions, monitoring and follow ups
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including regular cash verification, cash advances reconciliations, monthly cashbooks closing.
  • Responsible for the preparation of draft financial reports for grants implemented and submitting these for the revision of under or over spending and the explanation to be provided to the BOD.
  • Ensure a controlled and smooth cash flow managing process.
  • Prepare for, manage and support internal and external field financial audits. Human Resources HR Management
  • Regular review, update and / or develop of employment documentation for recruited staff.
  • Support line managers on disciplinary action and grievance procedures and to identify Training needs.
  • Responsible for all staff induction and orientation on all HR and admin related policies.
  • Human resource policies and procedures are maintained, implemented and communicated in line with country legislation.
  • Ensure accurate employee records are maintained and update regularly.
  • Manage entire employee lifecycle by implementing and maintaining systems related to recruitment, on boarding, case management, staff communication, staff exit management etc.
  • Manage and oversee the programme HR and finance staff including recruitment, day-to-day management, development and training, appraisal, etc. Administration Management
  • Meet the finance and HR related administrative requirements, local legislation, suppliers, contractors, employees and any other stakeholders, so that the functions run with integrity.
  • Prepare the monthly payroll and payments for staff salaries and / or allowances in accordance with local employment regulations, ensuring that all required statutory deductions are made and paid.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • BSc. Honor degree, first/Second upper level - qualification
  • Accounting Skills: Proficient in MS-Office

  • Hours of work: 8.00am until 5pm
  • Contract type: Full Time (6DW)
  • Scale: Junior Level (0-1year experience)
  • Reports to: Laboratories Manager / Managing Director of the Group Manager
