Market Intelligence Analyst

AUTOBASH Co. Ltd , is the engineering arm of BASH group of companies. We are exclusive manufacturer for GEELY commercial and passenger vehicle brand in Sudan. We are looking for a qualified person to fill the following position:

 Background:

Purpose:

Is a full-time position that works with marketing manager to support marketing activities by providing all data needed related to the market and its competitors, both existing and potential, Identify and collect appropriate customer, competitors, market, and economic, and operational data, Perform statistical, and qualitative data analysis of markets and competitors, Translate data into effective market and intelligence report.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Creates and updates comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models including market share, growth projections and trends, and market forces.
  • Collect and analyze data on customerdemographics, preferences, needs and buyinghabits to identify potential markets.
  • Assist in Market Segmentation and conduct behavioural studies.
  • Prepare report offindings illustrating data graphically and translating complex finding in to written text.
  • Provides market and competitive insights through reports to marketing manager to allow effective decision-making and implementation.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
  • Works with internal business customers to enhance their use of Data analysis and market and   competitor intelligence—to ensure that appropriate communication channels are maintained.                   
  • Collaborates internally to ensure intelligence is shared with appropriate groups and.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing Advertising and communication program andstrategies.
  • Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
  • Designing or assisting in the development of questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure the necessary data is captured.


 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Marketing   or any related Business Administration
  • 2 years of experience in the same position.
  • Able to operate within a team environment.
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (advanced.
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple    projects under tight deadline constraints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Skills and Specifications

  • Excellent numeracy and data analysis skills Proactive, positive and collaborative approach to working with a wide range of colleagues.
  • Able to operate within a team environment.
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills) is essential.
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline constraints.
