 Background:

A leading food distribution company, with a long history of success and a renowned brand in the field of food packaging/distribution in the country, is looking to recruit a secretary/office manager to assist the Chairman of the board of Directors in his day to day work.

 

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Chairman of the Board of Directors day to day office operations.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Organizing meetings and managing VIP contacts databases
  • Organizing company events and conferences
  • Maintaining office stationary supplies at all times
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Dealing with hard and electronic correspondence, and preparing letters, presentations and reports
  • Supervising and monitoring the work of junior administrative staff
  • Managing office budgets
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative and filing systems
  • Attending meetings with senior management, and taking minutes
  • Assist with basic HR functions, and arranging interviews for prospective staff

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • University degree in Secretarial sciences or any related fields
  • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English languages (verbal and written skills).
