THEATER TRAINING FOR ERITREAN CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN KHARTOUM

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is seeking for qualified candidate to fill the following post:

 Background:

UNHCR is seeking to hire an individual or organization who can develop a proposal and deliver a project that provides theatre training and performance opportunities to Eritrean children and youth who will be selected by UNHCR.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

REQUIREMENTS The successful individual or organization will be selected upon the submission of the following three requirements. A) Project Proposal The project proposal should provide information on: • How will (methods, number of teachers, etc.) you provide theater training to Eritrean children and youth? • Where will you provide the training? • How often you will you provide training? • How many children and youth can you train? Please note that UNHCR will handle the selection of students. • How will you develop two plays for the group to perform? One play must be on smuggling issues, the other is open for development. • How would you present the play to the community? • Will you offer any extra services like small food, drink, and maybe even transportation costs for the students? • How will you communicate and work with the Eritrean community? • How will you complete this project so that the group is ready to perform by the end of December 2019? B) CV Please include a short 1 or 2 page CV on your, or your organization’s experience and expertise in creative arts and theater training. C) Detailed budget Please provide a detailed budget not exceeding 157,500 SDG, which details all the costs associated with the delivery of the project. Please note the budget will be paid in three instalments. 40% at the start of the project, 30% after the training is complete, and 30% after the final performance.


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Organizations legally registered in Sudan, and individuals can apply. The entire project budget can only be paid to the organization or individual selected.
