Background:
Job Purpose:
To be fully accountable for the HSE Team Leader to maintain and supervise the work environment and to ensure that the Health, Safety and Environment systems / procedures in the company are working in a good manner and there are no risks to the life and safety of the employees as well as to enhance the safety of the company's property. and reporting any negligence

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist in identifying, assessing, documenting, analysis and controlling HSE risks
-
Assist in reviewing the accident action plan and analysis its impact on HSE.
-
Investigate accidents and other HSE concerns.
-
Monitoring injury, disease and other cases that affect the HSE.
-
Participate in the design of HSE strategies to reduce accidents, environmental accidents and other activities that may affect Morouj HSE.
-
Develop, design and deliver HSE training programs and increase the staff HSE awareness.
-
Assess the risks associated with tools and equipment, work sites, and work environment.
-
Support the HSE Team Leader to manage the Staff and company HSE.
-
Follow-up the correction of unsafe acts or conditions.
-
Implement emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is needed.
-
Maintain awareness of continuous follow-up and periodic security and safety.
-
Handle the inspection of the alarm system, fire extinguishers and manual extinguishers and ensure their efficiency.
-
Monitor the inspection of various sites in terms of cleanliness and writing periodic report.
-
Report any deficiencies or defects in HSE systems and ensure that the provision of equipment and safety equipment in the work of the company.

Ensure that all personal protective equipment’s are provided at work.

To work closely with HR & Admin departments to ensure that all labour laws and regulations are enforced and applied.

Ensure that risk assessment and analysis are completed for all business units.

Conduct periodic inspection of workplace HSE procedures to ensure that HSE policies are stetted and implemented by the company.

To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy timeliness and effectiveness of reports, and KPI’s.

. Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Information Security Policies

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Qualifications/Experience:
-
B.Sc. in any relevant field such as Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering., Occupational or industrial hygiene.
-
Have at least one of the HSE certifications
-
Relevant Professional Business qualification is preferred.
-
Experience in Design, Implementation of HSE processes and procedures.
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in HSE field
-
Experience in developing business processes, SLA’s, KPI’s and business rules
Knowledge
-
Understanding of the relevant regulatory, legal and other contextual factors of the Business.
-
In-depth knowledge of HSE and other international best practices related to Quality and food safety is Mandatory.

Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet dead line
Skills:

Writing documentation, giving presentations and teaching workshops.

Ability to develop and apply business processes and map to business and functional requirements

Highly developed skills in use of relevant IT packages including Excel. Word, PowerPoint etc
