 Background:

Works closely with Communication  manager and Brand team to create engaging content for a company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Social Media planning & Execution

  • Manages company social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
  • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content
  • Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation

 

 

  •  Social Media content and engagement  

 

Brand Communication

  • Assists brand  communication team with large projects, events, and community management
  • Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns

 

 

  •  Brand communication developed to cut through clutter building on Brand platform

Projects / Initiatives

  • Assists social media management with large projects, events, and community management
  • Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns
  • Works with brand  team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy

 

 

  • The project cycle is completed in line with plans and agreed project parameters and standards

Reporting

  • Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content

 

 

  • All reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet company policies and requirements

Related Assignments

  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Academic and professional qualifications:

§  Bachelor’s degree in Digital marketing or Multimedia or Business Administration

§  Any other certificates in the field of (Marketing Business Plans, Marketing strategies, new product development, Allocation of budgets, Leading tracking studies & quantitative / qualitative research managing budgets).

 

Experience:

1-2  years relevant experience in business / marketing  


COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

 

Internal Communication: All department heads.

 

 

External Communication: External suppliers, advertising agencies, research agencies & Media Buying houses  , governments .
