 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinates recruitment activities, this includes seeking applicants through internal data bank, advertisements, recruitment agencies, or social institutions as appropriate.
  • Coordinates with HAC (Humanitarian Aid Commission/Labor offices) in terms of arranging external recruitment activities.
  • Arranges for interviews for potential applicants and finalizes the selection process.

Contract administration:

  • Maintain an oversight on contract periods and initiates discussion on extension review through line managers.  Supports preparation of pay actions that need approval for payroll implementation including pay increments, allowances etc.
  • Prepares employment contracts for selected candidates (permanent, fixed term employment and consultants) and follows up its completion, implementation and their renewal.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.

HR Operations and information management

  • Introduces new staff to HRIS and their use of the system to manage their profiles, objectives, learning, time and annual leave.
  • Ensures all new staff has access to the HR manual and relevant updated policies on their benefit usage.
  • Project Delivery – provides execution follow through on assigned HR related projects.
  • Child protection Policy Implementation for CO – acts as the CPP champion for the CO and coordinates follow through and implementation of the set action plan for the CO

 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • University Degree in Business Admin or relevant field/ Discipline.
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in personnel administration / HR work (preferably in similar role)
  • Fully aware of the Sudanese Labor Law 1997and related government regulations and latest updates.
  • High level of interpersonal skills. professional in using MS-Office
  • High-level of computer skills, multi-tasking skills , and presentation skills

Salary and Benefits:

Plan offers a very competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. The employee shall receive a gross salary of 787 - 984 USD negotiable based on experience    Plan also offers different allowances including health insurance, one month’s gross salary during Eid-ul Fitr, and an educational allowance (equivalent to one month’s gross salary) at the start of every school year to support the education of our staffs’ children.
