Job Purpose:

  • The HR Manager will develop a thorough understanding of the offices’ requirements regarding human resources, administrative functions and physical the factory needs. He will partner with executive management to identify talent gaps and address the needs of departments, general manager, directors, departments’ managers and staff in key positions. He is responsible for full, accurate and equitable administration of all compensation and benefits and will be directly responsible for monitoring the day to-day work and direct supervision of the entire staff.  The Human Resources and Administration Manager will be supervised by the General Manager


 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives. 
  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and social insurance benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.
  •  Develops human resources manuals, policies, and operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation.
  • Be part of the staff recruitment committee, and set-up of interviews.
  • Maintenance of personnel files and Personnel Action Forms.
  • Benefits administration and staff compensation.
  •  Counsel and advice to staff on personal and work related issues including providing guidance and direction to management team and employees on human resource related topics.
  • Develop, manage and implement personnel policies; develop a Human Resource Information System (HRIS), payrolls, benefits, with using ERP system.  Work with staff and management to facilitate staff development and training opportunities.


 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:


  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resource or related field (e.g. Human Resource/Organizational Development or Business Administration). Post graduate degree is added advantage. 
  • 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of progressive managerial and hands-on HR generalist experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge and be current with all relevant employment related laws; Experience with developing a HRIS.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in labor laws, compensation, benefits administration, organizational planning and development, employee relations, safety, training and development and office administration.
  •  Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS programs.
  • Must be accurate and efficient, high energy, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Superior interpersonal and coaching skills including patience and ability to work well with staff at all levels
