Financial Manager

A leading company working in the field of pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food supplement its looking for qualified candidate to fill the following position: Financial Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate on financial plan for company.
  • Sharing on build the strategy and annual plan and policy & procedure.
  • Make sure that the financial plans for budget and schedule agreed upon, deliver regular accurate and integrated reports to the deputy Manager about the financial and administrative work.
  • Prepare the annual budget, develop and modernize policies and procedure for financial work from practice.
  • Participate in the selecting accounting system for the activity and updating the financial regulations.
  • Assist the deputy general Manager in managing the financial affairs of the establishment and the duties of the financial department.
  • To monitors the implementation of financial plans for activities and ensure the safety of its financial transaction, assess the financial performance of each activity, reports are required for follow up performance for the deputy Manager.
  • Monitor the daily work of the financial and follow up financial department and cash flow control and commitment and prepares the daily financial status.
  • Supervising the opening of accounting records according to the system in which the company operates.
  • Supervising on the payment data on the notebook manually and in computer program on company account.
  • Review the accounting restrictions of cash receipt and their analysis, and follow the entering on the daily manually and electronically.
  • Prepare monthly and annual balance sheet and profits &loss accurate and submits to the deputy manager.
  • Supervises the implementation of accounting entries for cash payment from the company’s treasury.
  • Following up the implementation of bank financing operations, preparing and setting the necessary document.
  • Following up the issuing letters of credit for purchases imported from abroad and to follow the receive payment documents for the supplier, total cost are charged to cost center.
  • To prepare and issues letters of guarantee for all transactions(recived,followed and prepare files)
  • To make the public adjustments.
  • To monitor the implementation of the banks supply restrictions.
  • Supervises the monthly accounting entries for banks (debit, credit) and to be sure from saving the notification.
  • Participate in the preparation and processing of financial statement to be submitted to the external auditor.
  • Participate in the preparation of draft financial statement and stock settlement and the end of year also prepare the audits reports.
  • Supervising the safety and good use of fixed and cash assets of the company.
  • Follow up the operations and transactions of the store and adjust incoming and outgoing transaction. And make sure that the store keeper commitment to the policies and control adopted.
  • To notify the deputy manager of any matter relating to financial matters, and movement of the local and foreign currency in the country could hamper company goals.
  • Do any other task are complementary to the function of the job.

Minimum qualification, Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Training courses in internal auditing.
  • (ACCA) OR ( CPA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience: at least 3 years as financial Mgr.
Essential: fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
