Job Summary & Major Responsibilities:    

  • Provide timely and reliable financial analysis that leads to effective decision-making by the regional office finance team
  • Analysis of financial data including cash flows, grants administration and key financial indicators of the countries.
  • Support RO in the analysis of RO and CO financial reports
  • Provide expertise in identifying system strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement
  • Assist in communicating, facilitating and coordinating instructions and milestones relative to financial trends and results of financial analysis
  • Prepare and analyze periodic fund requests.
  • Consolidate the analysis of cash flow forecast making sure that CO forecasts are within the approved limit
  • Monitor and analyze the exchange rates
  • Analyze income & expenditure accounts. Ensure the balance sheet, income and expense accounts are properly coded
  • Prepare, review and submit grants financial reports as per corporate or donor requirements
  • Develop, recommend and implement appropriate grant funded projects financial administration procedures in keeping with NO/donor requirements.
  • Provide guidance, support and capacity building to CO/RO staff on grants-related matters.

Qualifications, skills, competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields experience  minimum Five (5) years’  in financial managerial position Ability to analyze financial trends and implications to enable the CD/CFM meet accountability reporting for financial operations
  • Demonstrate high-level analytical skills
  • Consistency on approach to work and decision-making
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in multicultural contexts
  • Ability to set a strong learning culture within their team and department
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Salary and Benefits:
Plan offers a very competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. The employee shall receive a gross salary of 1652 in USD. Plan also offers different allowances including health insurance, one month’s gross salary during Eid-ul Fitr, and an educational allowance (equivalent to one month’s gross salary) at the start of every school year to support the education of our staffs’ children.
