Report to: Exploitation Mining Chef

Job Purpose:

  • Mining development plan for its sector
  • Strategic plan
  • Annual budget and forecasts
  • Management reviews
  • QSE meetings
  • Operational management plan according to the meeting matrix
  • Action to improve mining operations

 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Task & Responsibilities:

  • IN QSE & CSR
  1. Enforce the QSE policy at the entity level
  2. Ensure compliance with the quality, safety, health and environmental processes and put in place corrective action plans
  3. Ensure the implementation of tools for prevention and analysis of industrial risks.
  4. Chairing meetings with the Health and Safety Committees (CHSCT)
  5. Propose actions integrating into its activity to participate in the development of the region.
  • Production:
  1. Ensure the implementation of geotechnical solutions agreed and recorded in the land control register.
  2. Determine the number of people, equipment and consumables needed for the production process.
  3. Conduct annual production programs and monthly schedules in collaboration with engineering and planning.
  4. Ensure the sustainability of the extraction means.
  5. Manage the investment projects entrusted to him.
  6. Check and control the technical operating ratios.
  7. Ensure collection of billing and production items.
  8. Develop technical activity reports.
  9. Manage the interface with the other departments of the farm and with the subcontractors.
  10. Comment on analytics and rationalize ratios, variances, operating costs.
  11. Guaranteed continuous improvement of existing activities.
  12. Guaranteed the success of projects to ensure the sustainability of activities.
  13. Guaranteed the progress of the exploration work for the demonstration of fresh resources.
  14. Interviews the "Exploration -> Project -> Production" chain.
  15. Develops, with the Director of Operations, the entity's own mining development plan according to the orientations of the General Management, which defines the entity's strategy. Strategy over 5 years then 3 years (updated annually).
  16. Develops the entity's action plan in collaboration with the technical teams (Technical and Branch Development Departments), adjusting it according to the needs of the operation during the activity.
  • Management:
    1. Validate monthly and annual performance bonuses
    2. Propose recruitment and training needs, recommend them to the hierarchy and follow up on them
    3. Validate requests for mobility and promotions, recommend them to the hierarchy and follow up on them
    4. Receive grievances from staff and shop stewards and ensure their follow-up in order to create a favorable social climate
    5. Guarantee the performance of HR indicators (Absenteeism, ...)
    6. Plan the activity of its employees by defining clear objectives and validating the action plans proposed by them.
    7. Ensure the mobilization of the necessary means to achieve the objectives set by its Management.
    8. Develop and maintain clear work procedures for its employees that enable the proper execution of operations and their proper level of control.
    9. Control the work of its employees whether by controlling specific operations or through the overall results produced.
    10. Develop the skills of the employees under its responsibility by managing the annual evaluations and ensuring the development of their potential.

 

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Job Requirement:

  1. Bachelor degree in Mining
  2. From 2 – 5 years' experience
  3. interpersonal skills;
  4. report-writing skills
  5. good in Arabic & English language – French language is an advantage
