• Carry out day to day operations of Data Centre Operations activities on a shift basis.
• Carry out data processing activities on all application systems to support business.
• Execute End of Day processes, monitor and take appropriate actions in case of errors.
• Carry out tasks as per daily checklist and SOP
• Respond to user queries as relating to the state of various systems in Data Centre Operations.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc reports (and their email equivalent) for distribution.
• Notify NOC to log incidents in case of issues.
• Escalation of issues to application support team for quick resolution.
• Monitor daily backups and take action in case of failures.
• Perform manual server restarts as per schedule timeframe
• Carry out Adhoc activities such as Equation Library backup/Entire System backup and IPL (Initial program load) of IBM P720 machine on scheduled basis & on demand

• Degree/ Diploma in Computer Applications or equivalent professional experience
• I Series or P Series Advanced System Operator
• 3 to 5 years (or above) relevant experience.
• Knowledge in different operating systems
• Good communication
• Knowledge in FTP/Shell scripting
• Experience in Application Support area
• Experience with Network Monitoring tool
• Banking experience in IT is advantageous
