The Quality Control Department Manager manages the quality and food safety of products manufactured. By ensuring that all projects meet quality and product safety standards.


  Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Quality control manager are in charge of making sure their employer's products meet acceptable quality standards.

  2. Quality control manager make certain that production and manufacturing lines perform efficiently, coordinate employee efforts, and facilitate communications between management and production departments.

  3. They also devise ways of improving the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods .

  4. devising and establishing a factory's quality procedures, standards and specifications

  5. reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met

  6. working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers

  7. setting standards for quality as well as health and safety

  8. making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards

  9. looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency

  10. defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff

  11. setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures

  12. monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports

  13. making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them

  14. using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business

  15. Making sure the factory is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.

  16. Communicate regularly with the Corporate Quality Assurance, General Manager, and staff on all quality concerns that would involve the operations of the factory.




Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

- This area of work is open to all graduates but a degree in a relevant area, such as business adminstration , will be particularly helpful, especially if it includes quality management modules.

- Quality Manager 8-10 years of Experience.
