 Background:

Job Purpose

 The overall objective of the job.  

Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data, all marketing functions of the company and for organizing his resources and implements marketing plan changes as needed. Oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Job holder will be directly responsible for managing all aspects of marketing related issues.
  • Identify marketing opportunities and anticipate risks and solutions. 
  • Plan, implement and facilitate annual marketing plans for the company and get it approved by the Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager,
  • Responsible for company’s products price fixation and related company’s production.
  • Responsible for determining product mix in consultation with operations business units.
  • Product positioning and communication message.
  • Perform research on the industry and competitors to understand target market trends. 
  • Develops annual marketing plan in conjunction with sales department, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  •  Manage and implement all company strategic alliances and joint ventures and other business arrangements with other companies in external and domestic markets.
  • Plan and propose the new products projects and programmes.
  • Prepare periodic management information reports and give answers to any queries and comments.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments .to confer, discuss and obtain the required information  
  • Develop and administer marketing database which includes client and prospect information mailing list applications, access to financial reports.
  • Design and plan quarterly marketing training seminars for marketing division. 
  • Oversees Company’s electronic marketing efforts including supervision of Web site design and maintenance.
  • Follow up - Progress of Company strategy implementation for the new products.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate marketing information system that will enable to provide statistics and marketing reports to assist management planning and decisions.
  • Ensure and maintain up to date marketing intelligence.
  • Supervise all marketing research / surveys projects.
  • Lead the product development programmes with the designated marketing and company business units.
  • Plan for and execute the company promotion and brand strategies.
  • Contact and make follow up for any marketing contracts with Advertising Agencies and Media.
  • Follow-up of International organisations business in relation to the Company interest.
  • Develop business relations with international and regional research organisations.
  • Be a customer champion and manage the customer reference programme, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at all times.
  • Financial management of the marketing programme including budget planning, resource allocation and preparation of quarterly reports.
  • Other projects and assignments as required.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Master Degree in a relevant field.
  • Min of 10 years works experience.
  • Relevant experience in international production industry
  • Strong Arabic and English language skills
