 Background:

Job Description:

 

·         To manage, supervise and direct all daily operations within designated workshops. Ensure the implementation of service dept goals in his workshop in terms of financial performance, human recourses, training needs, adherence to manufactures standards /recommendations & facility requirements.

 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

·         Ensure that all workshop activities and operations are in full compliances with company rules& regulations.

 

·         Assist in the workshop financial budget and business planning in line / accordance with the service dept guidelines and time frames.

 

·         Achieve all financial budgeted targets and achieve customer satisfaction index.
 

·         Ensure quality control targets are implemented and achieved.

 

·         Maintain the redo jobs within the acceptable limits.
 

·         Implement and follow up the field & fleet supports engineers’ action plans.

 

·         Manage Work In Progress (WIP) and take all necessary actions to remain within designated KPI.

 

·         Ensure that regular inventory for technicians hand tools &workshop equipment is taking place.

 

·         Maintain designated KPI levels.

 

·         Ensure liaison and coordination between workshop sections.

 

·         Ensure housekeeping and facility management is carried out in line with company requirements

 

·         Generate customer

 

·         Adhere to all company policies and procedures in relation to Reporting, Financial, HR, Security and Health & Safety

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

·         University/polytechnic degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.

 

 

Experience (indicate depth & breadth):

 

·         4 years supervisory experience

·         2 years in a similar position

 

 

Skills & Knowledge:

·         Management or Supervisory Experience

·         Ability to read, write and present in English and Arabic

·         Good communication & public relation skills

·         Strong leadership skills

·         Strong technical background

·         Good negotiation & convincing skills

·         Good ability to work under stress

·         Strong report writing skills

·         Good computer skills
