Job Summary:

  Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager , performs skilled work in , electrical, and  cooling maintenance  and  in  daily  operation  of  electrical  system  in slaughterhouse.

 Performs a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing , cooling, ventilation and related systems. 

1. Investigates problems and performs repairs on various mechanical and electrical equipment in cooling and ventilation systems.

2. Performs preventative maintenance on various mechanical and electrical equipment in cooling systems.

3. Monitors and inspects electrical and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation.

4. Locates, picks up, and delivers parts required for department needs.

5. Checks and changes air filters on a regular basis.

6. Assesses drain problems and performs any needed repairs.

 7. Installs humidifiers into system and connects water and drain pipes.  

8. Determines amount of airflow required to keep Trucks at a safe level; ensures this level is maintained

 This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engendering or directly related field.

 Four year experience in a same position.

 Requires basic knowledge in a specific area obtained through training.
