Background:
Job Summary:
1. To manage the work of the Cleaning Staff this will include training, instructing and supervising.
2. To undertake, as part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition |

Duties and responsibilities:
1. To be involved in the appointment of Cleaning Staff
2. Train, instruct and supervise the work of Cleaning Staff
3. To ensure all works carried out by the Cleaning Staff as
4. set out in their Job Descriptions are completed
5. with due observation to appropriate Health & Safety requirements
6. Cleaning, sweeping and vacuum cleaning
7. Emptying of bins
8. Washing, dusting and polishing surfaces, including floors, walls, tables etc
9. Scrubbing and buffing floors using powered equipment on the relevant floors
10. Cleaning of toilet areas, to include replenishing of toilet rolls, soap and hand towels
11. To undertake a Deep Clean which includes, all of the above, plus for example: shampooing carpets Stripping and republishing floors, cleaning lockers, etc |

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in veterinary or directly related field; four year experience in a veterinary laboratory position. All employees will be given suitable training in line Safety policy. |
