Bachelor degree in Land studies, Natural Resource Management, peace studies or relevant field;
- Ability to research and summarize long studies and researches on issues related to the Land project;
- Proven experience in community work, conducting and managing hard-to-manage community consultations and focus group discussions;
- Motivation and commitment to achieve results in transparent and inclusive manner;
- Knowledge of UNDP and UN system programming is desirable;
- Age, Gender, and Diversity (AGD) awareness and demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a multi-cultural environment;
- Ability to work effectively under stress and in crisis situations;
- Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, social, and interpersonal skills;
- Previous work experience with Darfur Youth Volunteers is an asset.
Language:
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in English and Arabic are required with ability to translate small texts from Arabic to English.
