The Federal Ministry of Health is partnering with the Global Fund to set guidelines and recommendation that assures good prescribing to be implemented by different health practitioners.

In order to achieve this goal a highly qualified committee will be formed, that is headed by suitable consultant.
  
The main responsibility of this position is to ensure that the advisory committee maintains an effective, efficient system while developing these guidelines 

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Director General of Planning and close collaboration with the advisory committee the consultant has the following tasks:

1.      The Consultant will formulate an advisory taskforce drawing its member from a range of concerned specialists.

2.      The Consultant will organize frequent meetings for the advisory taskforce set the methodology, needs, timelines, and budget.

3.      The Consultant will facilitate the work of the advisory committee in collecting background information.

4.      The Consultant will prepare activity schedule.

5.      The Consultant will prepare all document related to the work.

6.      The Consultant will supervise the taskforce activities.

7.      The Consultant will write the final report, submit it to the DGoP along with documentation of the entire process and disseminate the findings.

Education:

• Has therapeutic specialty with a Masters degree in public health (preferred).

Experience:

• Practicing physician with a minimum of 15 years of experience in his field.
• Should be competent and effective as a facilitator
• Has a previous committee work.
• Have submitted previous monitoring and evaluation final reports.
• Able to work with our time schedule
• Cooperative, has a good communication skills and able to work with other members of the team.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
