Background: Under the guidance of the Operations Manager and supervision of the Finance Associate, the Finance Associate provides financial services ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work. The Finance Associate promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with UNFPA rules and regulations.
The Finance Associate works in close collaboration with the Finance Associate, operations, program and projects’ staff in the Country Office (CO) and with UNFPA HQs staff to exchange information and ensure consistent service delivery. |

Duties and responsibilities:

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Education: Completed Secondary Level Education required. First Level of University degree is desirable in the areas of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Experience: - Minimum of six years of relevant experience in finance required; Two years of relevant finance experience at the UN or international organizations desirable; - Good knowledge of ATLAS finance, ATLAS reporting tools and mechanisms.
Languages: Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic.
Computer skills: Proficiency in current office software applications (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Required Competencies:Values:
