 Background:

Maximize assigned territory coverage, by executing traditional trade sales and distribution strategy, to ensure delivery of pre agreed SKU distribution targets.

Achieve annual financial business objectives in terms of volume, revenue and profitability.

Submit regional volume forecast as per demand forecast cycle and process to secure adequate market stock levels and contribute to supply chain efficiency.

Manage accounts receivable of distributors and market to ensure level of credit exposure in line with company budget and in line with company credit policy.

Deliver agreed numeric and weighted distribution targets in his region to maximize distribution efficiencies and ensure regional market share objectives are met.

Recommends activities geared to deliver volume / revenue and distribution targets and ensures spending in line with pre agreed budget.

Control distributor expenditure to ensure spending in line within agreed parameters to secure distributor ROI.

Effective deployment of POPM material to create impact at point of purchase and support brand above the line initiatives.

Recruit, train, motivate sales team and ensure trainings needs and succession planning is developed for organization under management.

Analyze competitor activities of retail and commodity and suggest suitable actions.

Leads, develops & appraises his team by carrying out coaching & performance appraisals on a regular basis to ensure all team members are effective in their job roles

 

 



 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

·         BSc in relevant field (Business, commerce…etc)

·         Over 7 years of experience out of which 3 years minimum in a FMCG company.

·         Proven Analytical, planning and organizational skills

·         Strong knowledge and proven understanding of sales fundamentals and basic selling skills.

·         Sales Data Analysis.

·         Channel strategy knowledge

·         Distribution techniques know how.
