Background:
Maintaining, operating, fixing and testing utility equipment. This includes equipment that delivers hot water, water treatment unit , boiler , Power generators , N2 generators and air conditioning, as well as consumptions . Engineers may develop project plans that focus on designing different types of machinery such as pipes, pumps, cranes and other mobile equipment. Utilities engineers also maintain records, manage the project contract process and supervise the inspection of utility equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
-
Ensure maintenance and efficient day to day operations of all plant boilers, feed water pumps, Power generators, N2 generator, chiller, cooling towers, firefighting pumps, company vehicles, and air compressors.

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all key utility equipment.

Ensure all the vehicles and equipment's has received Preventive maintenance required on time.

Secure all spare parts required to keep his area always running smoothly and monitor them .

Identify and quantify potential savings associated with efficient use of steam, power and water and to engineer, coordinate and manage the execution of projects, modifications or practices required to achieve these savings.

Requires a thorough working knowledge and experience with heat transfer calculations, water balance calculations and heat recovery systems.

Control the company vehicles movement and services .

Develop and schedule annual boiler shutdown and maintenance outages.

Ensure that all required safety practices are observed and followed by all utility and outside maintenance contractor personnel.

Reporting to management effectively, and maintain the section documentation always in place.

Draw the objectives of his staff and keep them motivated, and evaluate them regularly to arrange trainings needed.
