 Background:

  • To Assist and coordinate with Safety Coordinator to promote safety awareness, provide guidance and direction for the operation of the organization’s Safety Management System.


 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain and apply current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
  • Conduct and report site safety inspection and airside performance.
  • Assess risks on site and make recommendations to responsible personnel to ensure all risks are managed or eliminated.
  • Investigation of  accidents/incident,  determine root causes, contributing factor and  recommendations to prevent from future occurrence and follow up implementation of recommondations effectiveness.
  • Brings to the attention of the Safety Coordinator  any reported discrepancy not being adequately attended to by the relevant person or in respect of any disagreement over the nature of the discrepancy.
  • Monitor and update the safety equipments, Fire Pumps and Fire Alarm panel.
  • Complete and maintain all necessary documents,record, and reports required.
  • Conduct in house potable water test and maintained the record of portable water quality checks and External parties result.
  • Establish and maintain the First Aid boxes
  • Assissting the Safety Coordinator during the customer airlines / Regulatory authority  audits
  • To perform their function of safety Coordinator in his absence and report to the Safety Manager
  • Responsible to comply with the applicable laws, regulations and procedures of NASPort and customers
  • Responsible for exercising due diligence towards Health & Safety of self & others in the organization and also environmental protection.
  • Responsible for Safety of the function/ Task performed.
  • Responsible for reporting to his superiors' occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

A. Education

 

  • Diploma/ Degree in Aviation Field

B. Professional Experience

 

  • Minimum One year of relevant work experience
