 Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Analyze production requirements and schedules and direct the day-to-day operations of the Tea Blending, Feeding. Coffee Roasting, Grinding, and manufacturing facility as are consistent with requirements.
  2. Arrange  with the sales department on the sales plane and accordingly arrange the weekly production plan and send the details to the MD
  3. Analyze and improve production processing problems, capacity constraints, staffing requirements, material yields, and other issues.
  4. Establish measure, improve, and report KPI’s.
  5. Champion food safety, quality systems and initiatives, innovation, continual process improvement, and safe working environment.

 

  1. Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to policies and SOP’s pertaining to manufacturing team.
  2. Develop job qualifications, performance standards, and training standards for manufacturing team.
  3. Enforce organizational policies and employees’ rules of conduct.
  4. Maintain and enforce a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
  5. Develop annual plant operating budget and control variances and scrap.
  6. Collaborate with management team and corporate staff to develop short and long term business plans, improve manufacturing constraints, increase flexibility, and solve problems.
  7. Manage assets and control expenditures.
  8. Interface with customers, suppliers, service providers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  9. Oversee the research, development, budgeting, and implementation of capital projects.
  10. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
  11. Providing Weekly and monthly Reports to the management
  12. Cost Reductions
  13. Play a key role in implementation and maintenance of ISO, HACCP and any other quality assurance systems that the company may undertake.
  14. Implement and review adherence to occupational safety and health regulations.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Academic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or Food Science, chemistry or equivalent.

Professional qualifications

  • Computer literacy Qualified
  • Fluent in English.
  • People management skills
  • Experience in implementation of ISO 9001 and 22000
  • Preference will be given those who have experience in FMCG production
  • Experience in Tea will be a distinct advantage

Experience

More than 10 years experience in manufacturing FMCG at least 10 years in the same Senior Managerial level
