 Duties and responsibilities:

We are Working as part of the Human Resources team your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Assist in the strategic Training and Development Planning and fine tuning of the strategic plan for the Department.
  • Develop the Training and Development Strategy including plans and policies to help achieve organizational and the individual Strategic Business Units (SBU) objectives.
  • Management System implementation and monitor consistency of use, and suggest improvements.
  • Development and implementation of employee training and development programs including the implementation of programs for identifying and developing employees with high potential.
  • Develop manpower plans (related budgets) and related Training and Development requirements including succession plans for key positions.
  • Develop a framework including reward strategies that allow the company to train, develop and retain high caliber staff across the business.
  • Development of systems, policies, procedures and forms work for training needs analysis and identification.
  • Development of annual / long term training and development plans.
  • Ensure all HR operations, procedures, and policies are efficient and in compliance with legislation and best practices. Support HSE initiatives and programs by working closely with HSE team leads and advisors.
  • Take care of labour issues.
  • Responsible to ensure HR goals and objectives are met within established timelines.
  • Review and update HR Policies and Procedures as required.
  • Provide management team monthly reports on HR and safety statistics, work in progress, recommendations, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and participate in workplace incident investigations and reporting.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on employee management in the areas of development, discipline and rewards.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners such as the local and provincial HR and HSE regulatory and government agencies


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree in Business Administration (specialization in HR) or equivalent
  • Minimum of (5- 7) years of HR management experience • Knowledge of HR operations and HR management
  • Knowledge of local labour regulations, employment contracts, performance management     frameworks, manpower planning and HR information management systems
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
