Responsible for keeping the site free from pests and vermin that may infect the buildings and surrounding of the warehouse.

• Apply and follow the contractual obligations, company policies and procedures.
• Follow, imply and maintain all ISO standards and requirements.
• To comply with QHSE policies and rules set by the company and to continually support the same to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
• Maintain and control all pest control equipment and chemicals
• Identify the source of infestations
• Conduct spraying or dusting with approved chemical solutions to treat the infestations.
• Providing the proper aftercare instructions to ensure food safety and the safety of inhabitants.
• Spray, fog, bait and trap to control pests and weeds in and around buildings.
• Control cockroaches, ants, rodents, birds, snakes, termites, etc.
• Inspect property, determine problem and implement the most effective solution.
• Receive work orders and work requests, determine nature of the problem and undertake necessary actions.
• Ensure food safety and safety of employees while performing duties.
• Operate spraying equipment, bait gun, power fogger and various power and hand tools in performance of duties.
• Maintain records and files and prepares reports on activities. Must know how to interpret MSDS.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations governing pesticide application.
• Perform related work as required.

• Thorough knowledge of the common practices, tools and terminology used to control pests and weeds;
• Thorough knowledge of the use and characteristics of pesticides;
• Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions associated with the work. Ability to work from sketches, drawings, plans or specifications;
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, ability to apply pesticides chemicals in accordance with established regulations and to read, understand and follow chemical label instructions;
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to estimate materials and time needed to complete task;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with a diverse population.
• Skilled in the use of tools and equipment necessary to perform tasks

• High School with a minimum of 4 years experiences in a similar position/role in a Remote Life Support Service
• 2 to 3 years’ experience as pest controller in Food warehouse or food operation+ Required training
• Must be fluent in English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be mentally and physically fit and have the ability to work long periods.  Should be energetic and enthusiastic and willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines
