 Background:

 

Responsible for supervise the members of the ground crew loading cargo onto the aircraft unloading cargo from it. Making sure that cargo is loaded safely and efficiently and sometimes required to fly/travel with the cargo to ensure its safety during transport.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Applies and follows the contractual obligations, GCCS’ policies and procedures.
  • Follow, imply and maintain all ISO standards and requirements.
  • To comply with QHSE policies and rules set by the company and to continually support the same to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Add new material to file records, and create new records as necessary. 
  • Assign and record or stamp identification numbers or codes in order to index materials for filing.
  • Eliminate outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements.
  • Enter document identification codes into systems in order to determine locations of documents to be retrieved.
  • Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.
  • Keep records of materials filed or removed, using logbooks or computers.
  • Modify and improve filing systems, or implement new filing systems.
  • Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper condition.
  • Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to classification and identification information.
  • Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.
  • Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
  • Track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned.
  • Convert documents to films for storage on microforms such as microfilm or microfiche.
  • Design forms related to filing systems.
  • Gather materials to be filed from departments and employees.
  • Operate mechanized files that rotate to bring needed records to a particular location.
  • Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.
  • Retrieve documents stored in microfilm or microfiche and place them in viewers for reading

 

  • Follow driving safety rules at all times.
  • Maintains safety and cleanliness of vehicles.
  • Conducts daily vehicle checks before and after work shift.
  • Reports vehicle defects to Management.
  • Maintains the vehicle kilometer records for vehicle servicing.
  • Responsible for the safe transportation of staff
  • Other duties as required.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

 

  • A high school diploma or Bachelor’s Degree is the minimum education level & rrelevant courses is preferred
  • Computer skills and can work in MS Excel.
  • Very good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of office administration
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Should have Valid Heavy Duty Vehicle License and able to pass an onsite drivers test.
  • Must be able to speak write and understand English.
  • Must have minimum Knowledge on Vehicle repairs.
  • Must be fluent in English.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be mentally and physically fit and have the ability to work long periods.  Should be energetic and enthusiastic and willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines
