Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :

• Examine eyes, using observation, and instruments, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.
• Sell goods such as contact lenses, spectacles, sunglasses, and other goods related to vision care
• Analyze test results and develop a treatment plan.
• Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids.
• Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors

qualified Optometrists…with a 4 year degree and 2 years work experience (males only)

• Attended accredited schools, pass an exam and become licensed to practice.
• Proven Experience (2-7 ) as an Optometrist.
• Optometrists may pick an advanced area of clinical specialization and attend a residency program after graduating from optometry school
